Sunday Fun-day at the bubbly festival today! I had such a lovely day tasting champagne and spending time with friends and family 🙂 This festival is held annually in Franscchoek, Western Cape, South Africa. Most of the sparkling wines that are exhibited are made on South African wine farms, whilst some are from France. We call our Champagne MCC (Méthode Cap Classique), which is the term for the method in which the sparkling wine is made, because France has the “rights” to the term Champagne. However the method in which the sparkling wine (champagne) is made in both countries is the same!
My favourite champagne of the day is the Genevieve MCC. Visit their website for more information 🙂 Genevievemcc.co.za
This picture is of Melissa and myself. Melissa is the creator of the Genevieve MCC bubbly 🙂 She is such a lovely person to get to know! This festival is such a great experience and you get to dress up for the occasion! I am wearing a new white dress that I bought at a Young Designers Emporium store 🙂
