In light of my recent travels, I have decided to write up a workout for those of you that may be/are going away this year πŸ™‚ I know that staying dedicated and motivated on holiday can be challenging, I experienced this first hand the past few weeks! All the food and good times may be too much of a distraction for you to workout πŸ˜› BUT if you are still serious about staying in shape, even during your travels, here is a little guide on how to do so.

Firstly, it is very important to remember to stay hydrated throughout your flights! This is challenging because we all forget to drink a lot of water when we aren’t moving around, but flying dehydrates the body, so it is important to keep drinking water whenever you get the chance. Secondly, eating a healthy breakfast while you are traveling around will help you feel healthy, and generally give you a positive start to the day πŸ™‚


If you are not staying at a hotel that has a gym, here are a few body-weight workout’s that you can do wherever you want! Some people have the idea that doing a body-weight workout is not hard work, well give these one’s a try before you jump to those conclusions πŸ˜‰

Workout 1:

  • 1o push-ups
  • 10 crunches
  • 10 jump squats

x 10 rounds!



Workout 2;

  • 10 commando’s
  • 10 spider-man
  • 10 jump lunges (10 each leg)

x 10 rounds!




Workout 3:

  • 10 burpees
  • 10 push-ups
  • 10 crunches

x 10 rounds!

Now give those workouts a try while you are on your adventure and let me know how you feel afterwards πŸ˜› Another tip that I have while you are traveling, is to walk everywhere! Walking around the streets instead of taking a bus/car around burns way more calories πŸ˜‰ AND you get to take everything in way more than if you were to drive around.
