Hello humans!

It is almost November… wait what? Where did this year go ?!

I’ve been thinking about this topic a lot lately, so I thought I’d share it and get some feedback on the matter. My question to you is – Why would you only want to do one discipline/type of training when you could potentially do many of them?

I understand the whole concept of ‘jack of all trades, master of none’, BUT you can do more than one type of training and still have one as your ‘main’ type that you’re better at. I just don’t understand why people feel the need to bash another type of training because they don’t do it, or they think their’s is superior.

As a fitness person, I have tried many different types of training, and it’s very interesting to see how my body reacts to each one. However, none of these training methods have taken away from another, they have all interlinked somehow and only added to my overall performance. Yes, granted you can’t be a bodybuilder and a crossfit athlete, but that’s an extreme matter of different disciplines. I’m talking about being a trail runner/crossfit athlete/practice yoga etc. You can do all these things together, so why not?

At the end of the day all I’m saying is; why would you limit yourself and close your mind off to different types of training when they could potentially make you better and change your life?
