I want to talk about chasing your dreams. This year is the year that I am finally going to be doing something that I am passionate about. I am very excited for the things to come this year, and to top it all off, I am turning 21! Β This week I have set out some goals and motivation for myself to get to where I want to be during the year πŸ™‚ and so today I trained my favourite muscle of them all, the glute’s πŸ˜‰ I squatted 60kg free bar squat, and my goal is to reach 70kg. However I want to reach a personal best max squat of 80kg.

After doing squats, I did sprinter sqauts and then an interval of jump squats for 20 seconds, sitting at 90 degrees air squat and holding it for 20 seconds and then air squats for 20 seconds; for a total of 5 minutes! I think it’s safe to say I am going to be very sore tomorrow πŸ˜€ Squatting is a very good exercise to do because it is a full body, power movement.

The above picture is of sprinter squats, they are very good for building the booty πŸ˜‰ But it is also good for your balance and core muscles. Don’t forget to chase your dreams, no one can stop you! Self-confidence and belief is a very powerful tool, so use it <3
