I’ve started to balance on BOSU ball (a Pilates ball cut in half) after my workouts as part of my stretching and warming down routine πŸ™‚ Balancing on this ball is so good for your core and stability. You can do so many exercises with these balls, my favourite exercises are balancing and ab exercises.

Processed with VSCOcam with t1 presetΒ I’ve been doing these balancing exercises for about a month now. In the beginning it was tough to just do an air squat on the ball, but now I can balance on one leg πŸ˜€ As you can see, you flip the ball around so that you stand on the flat side and the ball is on the ground, this is more difficult than just balancing on the ball side with the flat side on the floor.

I feel like a real Yogi when I can balance on one leg like this πŸ˜‰ But I really do recommend it to anyone who is wishing to strengthen their core or if you just want to switch up your routine, and do something more fun πŸ™‚

Doing these balancing exercises also do something to your brain, just like when you are little and are learning how to catch a ball or play any sort of sport, your brain needs to adapt and learn how to do it and remember how to do it for the next time. So as well as being healthy for your body, it is also healthy for your mind <3

Healthy mind, happy body. That’s what I believe πŸ˜› and as you can see this makes me very happy!

I’ll have to start doing bosu balancing again. I used to use the Bosu a lot at the gym, and now I have one at home and I never use it (yet I wanted it so bad! Lol) Might as well put it to use!
