Its Humpday πŸ˜› This week I would like to share a beauty tip that I have used for the past few months. It may be ‘old news’ to some, but I think it is worth sharing πŸ™‚ This beauty tip is from Cosmopolitan Magazine.

Its all about the Brows πŸ˜‰

Number one is the ‘soft rounded’ shape. This brow shape is recommended for those who have square shaped faces. This will soften the ‘angular’ jaw line.

Number two is the ‘fully arched’ shape. This brow shape is for those who have ’rounded’ faces. This will bring out your bone structure – the higher the arch, the better πŸ™‚

Number three is the ‘extended’ brow. This look works well for people who have ‘long’ faces. This look focuses on bringing out the horizontal line of the face.

Number four is the ‘groomed’ look. This is best suited for people with ‘heart’ shaped faces. This means that you have to keep your brows neat because a lot of focus is pointed to the top half of the face.

Number five is the ‘slightly arched’ shape. This shape if for people who have ‘oval’ shaped faces. This is the most versatile face shape that can get away with the classic brow shape.

Cosmo recommends that you follow 3 rules when it comes to shaping brows:

  1. The head of each eyebrow should start at the bridge of the nose. To find it, hold a pencil vertically along either side of your nose.
  2. The arch of the brow should not be in the centre of the eyebrow. But rather two thirds of the way outwards.
  3. Whatever you do, do NOT cut the brows short. The tails should end on an imaginary line that links to the corner of your eyes, but be careful no to let the tails be too long as this can make your eyes look droopy.

That is the beauty tip of the week taken from Cosmopolitan Magazine! I love reading their magazines for all of these beauty secrets and tips πŸ˜›
