Over the past week I have had some ‘me’ time to think about the future. Something that stood out for me, personally, is that in order to reach my goals I have to be better than the average joe. This led me to thinking about the concept of choosing your ‘hard’. Ashy Bines – the absolute babeeee in Australia, spoke about this topic on snapchat the other day, and it really stuck with me! 🙂
Firstly something I want to pass on to you is that no one else can reach your goals for you. It really bugs me when girls ask “can you make me skinny”, because the answer is NO. I cannot make you skinny BUT I can give you the tools and support in order for YOU to reach YOUR goals! And now this brings me to what Ashy Bines was talking about. You can decide if getting up early is too ‘hard’ or if eating clean is too ‘hard’ for you, just remember that someone else has an even bigger ‘hard’ than you, and they are making the effort to reach their goals. To put this into perspective for you – being in a wheelchair is hard, being very ill is hard, but being healthy and able to get up early to move your body and exercise is not ‘hard’.
p e r s p e c t i v e – something a lot of people need to gain.
I know we all make excuses about not being able to eat healthily, or not having enough time in the day to exercise, but if it is important to you, you will find a way. If its not, you will find an excuse. Simple.
With that said, get yo butt to the gym 😉 I crushed my cardio and workout today! 😀 Feeling ontop of the world! I’m one week into my new training program (which kills by the way) and I can already see small changes, plus I’m hungry aaalllll the damn time 🙁 #fitgirlproblems But I can’t wait to see what the next 11 weeks have in store 😀
