Hello Fitties 😛 Happy Monday! I cannot believe we are in the last two weeks of July! But do you know what this means? Only 3 months left until summer starts to show its face in the Southern Hemisphere 😀
So with that in mind, I have put together a little ab routine that you can do whenever you want, like in the mornings or evenings, or to end your workout off with 🙂 .
- Crunches – because sit-ups actually don’t work your abs as much as crunches do.
- Straight leg raises with a lift – start by lying on your back, then bring the legs straight up and lift your bum of the floor, then lower slowly and repeat. (you can start with your hands under your bum/lower back to help you in the beginning if its too difficult.)
- Spider-man – Start in a push up position, then individually bring each knee towards the elbow. Try and turn the knee outwards instead of brining it straight up.
- Plank – hold a plank position for one minute on each side and the normal plank position.
Do these exercises 4 times each with 10 repetitions 🙂 Paired along with cardio and a clean-eating diet, you will get great results but the time summer comes! Remember abs are made in the kitchen and summer bodies are made in winter 😉
